Outer Wilds

Sharing some work I did on Outer Wilds as a Junior 3D Artist This was my first job as an Environment Artist!
I was tasked with set dressing, foliage composing, terrain painting, asset creation, texture creation, character skinning, and assisting with optimization by operating a very cool tool named Steph to delete unseen polygons on cliffs. It was a true honor to contribute to such a special game.

Emerging from a grotto, you discover a statue of Kali in the Indian tropical forest.
Responsible for all aspects, minus a log and some grass from Megascans!

cliff shader I created in ue5 with controls for crevice moss, world aligned moss, water level darkening, detail normal/albedo, color variations, vertex mesh paint. I also wanted to try UE5's new RTV landscape blending with this shader which is super cool!
